What's with all this low--carb eating?
Lunch was delicious.
I've a huge pot-full left to pack and freeze for quick, microwavable meals, and only one pot, plus a chopping board and knife to wash from the cook-up effort.
Today I renewed my BodyMedia FIT subscription and will reset my fitness goals, blogging about it as I go.
It is going to rain soon so I had best get dressed and go walking with my Treck. Isn't it grand? Better than a granny walker, bushwalkers around the word are discovering the Treck. The walking wheel at the front allows it to climb over pavement steps or small obstacles.
I am keen to make an effort to overcome the sedentary aspect of my writing work by fitting an active lifestyle into my routine.
Don't Diet; Liveit!
My nutrition could do with some fine tuning. I'll not be denying myself anything I desire to eat. As I care for myself I'll be desiring to eat healthy and portion controlled.
A few more green leafy vegetables in my diet from today onwards will assist me reaching my fitness goals.
The exercise bike has been repositioned in the lounge room for two reasons. One, it provides handles to grasp hold of when rising up or coming down the step into the kitchen and assists in falls prevention, and that is important as my husband needs the help of a hand rail. I'm setting a computer screen on a shelf behind the treadmill and a keyboard and mouse on a smaller shelf at the front of the controls.
As it is now, in view, it is being used more. My husband is using it for ten minutes a day on top of his 10,000 steps walking he does each day.
I have heavy adjustable weights I can use, but the weights I keep for occasional use with the treadmill are lighter ones.
You will notice that in this photo I am wearing quality footgear. I would love to hear of your journey if you would like to share it through the comments or on my facebook page.
