Super Saturday? What I did felt super.
I took three days off to visit my daughter and grandchildren. That coincided with a health slide back. I did not look at the computer while visiting family I only get to see once in ever few months. I wasn't even aware there was a super Saturday event.
However—despite health issues that made ever step I took a super effort, I wore an activity monitor, and I made every effort to be mobile with walks in the garden, around the house, marching while hanging on to the back of a chair.
I managed over my absolute allowed minimum step count for days when I am ill. I stepped over 3,600. steps.
I'm back home again and will make ever effort to get back to doubling that effort to 6,000 plus. I cannot see week one exercises at a quick glance to see what I was supposed to have done, but I think my effort was a super one.
As I'm short of time, being a full-time carer as well as being a small business manager/owner, I did not loose any motivation to stay focused on food portion control on those days when I did not come in to 12WBT to report. I realise I do need to read the week's plan ahead of time, but I know that I can save some time by reporting in less, as long as my portion control focus remains high. If I slip, I'll come in daily. If I'm going strong' and wanting the long work hours without overeating, I'll not post so often. That time can be better used for walking or rest.
Well, the first week was good. As my weight regular fluctuates I'm taking no notice of this week's weight loss—I'll take notice if I can release excess weight consistently again.
