Facebook tells me that this wonderful day was six years ago.
That mountain climb has been my 'comeback' goal anytime I've had a physical setback. When I had a stroke at age 32 I set a goal to climb that mountain in two years time—I did.
I reset that goal at every setback I've had—and achieved it.
Hmm-it feels a little out of reach in this my seventieth year—but I'm not ready to discount the possibility of climbing mountains again. A touch of crazy in a great fitness motivator. I'll start training at an easy level today and make another vegetable garden bed.
