I had great results in my first three months, the starting three months on the CSIRO TWD.
I put that down to increased physical activity as I was simply eating healthy and not following their diet at all, and being more active—again, not even looking at the exercise they recommended. All I did was weigh in once a week. That worked for three months.
The last three months, I continued to eat healthy and exercise, but exercised less as I was deeply engrossed in a job I am passionate about.
Just beginning the third three months this week and I checked what I should be eating and saw that I was not eating enough protein, according to the TWD.
I doubled the amount of meat my husband and I were eating, and the scales made a huge budge. That took me by surprise.
So, eating MORE for one week moved me off a three month plateau.
