Dry Hair Shampoo
Use oatmeal as a dry shampoo to clean your hair without water. Measure 1/2 cup of cornstarch and sprinkle into the hair, let it sit for a few minutes then brush out of the hair. This is a good dry shampoo particularly for those with oily hair.
Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Conditioner
Apple cider vinegar is a good choice to soften your hair. Use a tablespoon of the vinegar to a liter of water and mix, then use as your final rinse after washing your hair. The vinegar smell lessens as your hair dries. Apple cider vinegar helps restore the PH balance of your hair, leaving it soft and shiny. If you would like to add a pretty smell to your conditioner add pieces of chamomile, lemon peel, orange peel, rosemary, sage, or lavender plant to your rinse mix.
