I don't care what the scales say. I do care that I am taking actions to get to the goals I want. As others have said, in varied ways, the largest percentage of your body is fluid and that is always fluctuating. To gain muscle, which increases weight, (although usually offset by fat loss and thus some loss shown on the scales) is a desirable thing, both for body sculpting and good health. Bone weighs heavier than fat or muscle. I do not want more bone density loss.
I already have osteoporosis for stupidly drinking diet coke in my thirties, (not knowing the dangers) so weight loss alone is the last thing I want.
Weight loss is so easy to achieve by unhealthy means. Accept the fluctuations and be happy with the natural, healthy weight loss that comes as we improve physical fitness.
Hollow bones as a result of osteoporosis.
