About time. :-).
Heading off for the winter holidays with a month and a half extra at this end and half a month at the other, so 5 months away and taking my RM Williams belt done up on the outer hole, at it's widest point.
I am going on my R. M. Williams belt, fitness plan again.
This is a real, KISS (Keep it Simple) principle no diet plan program that works if you stay focused and do not think, 'just this one slack off will not matter.' It is consistency that counts.
My fitness assessment plan is simple.
No scales, no tape measures, no wall sits, not time trials.
I have packed a beautiful leather RM Williams belt and will be wearing this during my 5 month trip north while I will be striving to eat healthy, portion controlled and exercise as suits my body.
There are 5 holes in this belt and it currently does up on the last hole.
What hole shall I be doing it up to when I return?
Waist measurement is said to be a more accurate indicator of our health risk than the scales. Health is what interests me, not what I weight. I am aiming for the 80 cm decreased health risk for women, hole on my RM Williams leather belt. First step to reach the 88 cm minimal risk, hole first.
It would be possible to be doing it up on the smaller of these holes. There is 100 cm between the tightest and widest hole space and 4 to 5 months to achieve a goal of being 2 sizes smaller and all without any obsession with radical exercise and dieting, now weighing in. Just a consistency of self care. This is my simplified winter holiday fitness plan.
I brought the autobiography of RM Williams away with me to read during this trip.
