Living Well As A Solo Senior
New Year 2023.My first New Year ever of independent living alone.
I plan to live it, not diet. I’m going to learn how to be an the best I can be for me, as I approach my 80s, through joyful, thoughtful, portion controlled eating and doing activities I enjoy that suit my needs |
I have a small kitchenette complete with hotplate that I know how to use, a microwave which I have only ever used heat food, and a Christmas gift from a loved one of the 4 Litre air fryer which I do not know how to use
There is a small vegetable garden near my kitchen. I desire to eat healthy, but not restrictively, so, as life is to be enjoyed, life and food is to be enjoyed. I need to release a considerable amount of excess weight to take a load off my arthritic joints. While not risking osteoporosis from rapid Weigh loss, not oppression from an excessively restrictive diet. To put it simply, I plan to Live It not Diet. I'll stare the journey.
